Wo-Wo Alloy Wheel Drying Towel

What is it:

Taken from the Wo-Wo official website, The Wo-Wo Alloy Wheel Drying Towel has been specifically designed so you no longer have to worry about dragging your bodywork towel on the floor. The cloth is small enough to use just on intricate parts without compromising the drying capabilities, ideal also for door shuts and bodywork recesses.

How We Tested it:

We were sent the wheel drying towel along with the wheel wash mitt to review together and put through its paces on a variety of wheels. We looked at the ease of use of the towel, build quality and general performance of the towel in its task.

We Liked:

• Vivid black colour with red band helps the towel to stand out among other towels.
• Small yet ultra plush design allows the towel to easily get into the spokes on wheels and effectively dry them without towel being dragged on the floor
• Quality feel to the towel, holds its shape and structure under use.
• Mesh drying bag to store the towel in after use and keep it from picking up grit.

We didn’t like:

• Expensive for what it is. At almost the price of general drying towels for one a fraction of the size, it feels costly.
• The black colour while vivid may make it harder to spot any potential grit that may harm delicate wheel surfaces.

Overall:

One of the most difficult products we have had on test to award a rating to. In essence, there is very little wrong with the product, it does exactly what it is meant to. Its small, nimble to use and plush meaning it effectively dries wheels and other tight areas on the cars bodywork. Unfortunately, we just cannot look beyond the price. For £8.99, we just aren’t sure we could justify using it beyond using a regular plush small buffing towel or similar, though we are sure Wo-Wo will find their market with those who appreciate the design and performance of a separate dedicated towel.
