BUFF-IT UK Glass Cleaner

What is it:

Taken from the Buff It UK website; Buff It’s glass cleaner is a professional standard formula used for the cleaning of glass and mirrors. Formulated with a high alcohol level Buff It’s glass cleaner will cut through grime and dirt to leave your windows smear and streak free.

How we tested it:

Buff it kindly sent us a 250ml bottle of their glass cleaner to trial which we have been utilising on a wide range of vehicles and surfaces. This has included both interior and exterior glass and piano black surfaces on vehicle interiors as well as dials and mirrors. We have looked as a main focus at its cleaning power and residue\streaking left behind.

We Liked:

• Represents fantastic value for money with even a litre only coming in at £7.99.
• Cleans effectively, cutting through dirt and film left on both interior and exterior surfaces.
• Smells nice and fresh, great for interior use and leaving a clean scent throughout, doesn’t smell too chemical which some glass cleaners can
• 250ml glass cleaner would be nice and convenient to carry in car for use as and when needed.

We didn’t like:

• Doesn’t evaporate/disperse as fast as some rivals and does leave a few streaks but nothing that couldn’t be removed easily with a second pass with a buffing cloth.
• Instructions could be a little more detailed, amount to use, type of cloth to use etc.

Overall:

Buff it with their glass cleaner have managed to produce a no nonsense product that does exactly what it should and does so well, whilst representing probably the best value product of its type overall. We would like the instructions to be a little more constructive than spray and wipe away and it does streak a little more than rivals but all streaks with very easily removed with additional passes and in terms of cleaning power it performs very well.
