What is it:

Taken from the TDG website; We have managed to create a pre-wash foaming agent that produces rich foam at good dilution rates, great cleaning ability whilst still being completely ph neutral. This foam formula safely and effectively lifts dirt and grime off all exterior surfaces without stripping any lsp or wax protection, even neat!

How we Tested it:

We have been in touch with TDG over several weeks of late, assisting with feedback on some pre release products for the brand. During this time, they were kind enough to send us 500ml of Pre Wash to put through its paces. We looked at the cleaning effectiveness, dwell time, economy and place for the product as key focusses.

We Liked:

• One of the best cleaning pre washes we have used to date. We used it on very heavily soiled pick up trucks and it wiped the floor with rivals we have used on the trucks previously.
• Smells fantastic and you get a range of scents to choose from on purchase.
• Completely coating safe, even when adjusting to a strong dilution for heavier soiling.
• Good dwell time allowing for any agitation around grills, wheel arches etc.
• Real sense of development in the products

We Didn't Like:

• One of the more expensive pre wash offerings with 5 litres of the product coming in at £40.

Overall:

This is one of the few pre washes we have used which compared to rivals we immediately noticed the step up in performance. It's curious that TDG have marketed this as a foaming pre wash rather than a snow foam but on using you kind of get the feel to why. It doesn't feel snow foamy in its performance nor its abilities and feels like a stronger version of such. You could almost make a case for having a bottle of this on your shelf alongside the snowfoam you use for lighter soiling and alternate on needs. Very impressive cleaning performance and a premium feel to the product may be compromised by a high price compared to some rivals but we urge you to try this and see for yourself.
