What is it?

In the words of wo-wo themselves; The Wo-Wo foam applicator pad has been designed to make product application an easy task within your detailing routine. After use, the sponge can be rinsed thoroughly in warm water, left to dry then it will be ready for next time. The Wo-Wo foam applicator is ideal for applying waxes, polishing and protectants.

How we Tested it:

We purchased 8 of these foam applicators after being sent one of them by our friends at Sample This. We have tested them for a variety of tasks including the application of products to the exterior such as waxes, polishes sealants and dressings as well as using them on interior surfaces to apply interior dressings.

We Liked:

• Stylish looking applicators. Might sound trivial, particularly when youre covering them with product but it all helps add to the enjoyability factor and gives a premium feel.
• Lovely and soft, reassuring you that they will not marr your paint surface at all.
• Absorb and hold plenty of product and spread it evenly.
• If you can get them with the mesh bag by purchasing 8 pads in a set, really useful to store pads in said bag when finished using.
• Nice, 'bounciness' to the pad making it nice to hold and use and pick up product with and bounce back into shape.
• Fantastic value both individually or as a group purchase.

We Didn't Like:

• Whilst lovely and soft, the pads do start to crumble a little faster than some rival applicators with our heavy use
• Pads do become quite soggy and saturated with product quite quickly.
• On some tackier products, pads will occasionally fold up on themselves/ struggle to spread the product.

Overall:

The first product we have tested from the guys at Wo-Wo and a great first impression. You could be forgiven for reading what we didn't like and thinking this is a problem but it really isn't anything of significant note. The pads at large are a joy to use and if you're a professional detailer look stylish and the part. They are such great value that it makes sense to buy them in bulk with 8 available for just £4.99 and with the superb idea of a mesh bag for storage, when one becomes saturated, pop it in the bag and grab another! We particularly like these applicators for interior surface dressings as they seem to follow the contours of interiors very nicely. A product we will certainly continue to use.
