What is it?

Essentially a quick detailer designed for maintenance, Sonax BSD also has commendable protective qualities. The product is a spray and wipe application used after washing, to top other protective layers or where required such as door shuts and other areas that require a spruce of protection.

How we Tested it?

We purchased this initially as it was recommended to us as a maintenance product for Cquartz. We have since purchased the product several times and use it daily on pretty much every vehicle that comes through the workshop.

We Liked:

• Very economical product, a little really goes a long way and you can literally do an average sized panel in a couple of sprays.
• This is designed to be a quick detailer. To remove a fingerprint here and there"¦it leaves a fantastic finish and offers several weeks of protection with strong beading!
• Use it to put fast protection on fiddly areas such as grills, door sills etc.
• Great price. Euro Car Parts were stocking it at £7.99 for 750ml at the time of writing.
• Thick product makes it easy to see where you have applied product and adds lubricity for removing blemishes.
• Smells fantastic!

We Didn't like:

• The trigger bottle isn't great. Once you get to two thirds down the bottle, it is difficult to get the last remains out and it just spits a few droplets at you. However, this is the only thing that does let it down.

Overall:

Sonax have done it again. We would go as far as to say this product is a game changer. A product that you can find a use for on literally every vehicle you use it on. We go over every vehicle with it when we are done and even if we don't use it on the bodywork, it certainly goes on the door areas, grills and to remove any wheel blemishes. As a maintenance product that takes a literal 5 minutes to do the whole vehicle with, we will never be without BSD. Just sort that bottle out Sonax!
