What is it?

In the words of Sonax themselves"¦

The trendy shampoo with the extra power and ultimate scent for the manual car wash. Removes dirt quickly and thoroughly. Its gentle surfactants are very easy on the paint. Does not attack the preserving and protective wax layer on the paint. Thoroughly but gently removes street dirt and insects from all paint, rubber, plastic, vinyl and glass surfaces without attacking mouldings or attached parts. Phosphate free and pH neutral.

How we Tested it?
We were kindly given a sample of this to try whilst at the Waxstock detailing festival. We used it during a maintenance treatment to an Audi A1 using the two bucket method.

We Liked:

• The smell is incredible. It hits you straight away and unlike some products remains throughout the process. Gorgeous!
• Good lubricity gives a real quality feel to the product.
• Simple but stylish and professional looking straight to the point packaging which is consistent of other Sonax products.
• Decent if not spectacular dilution rates. Our 25ml sample easily was enough.
• Did we mention the smell?

We Didn't like:

• It's hard to fault the product, could it be concentrated further? We may test this at a later date.
• The smell is so good you might drink it.

Overall:
Why is it that everything short of a Diesel Volkswagen that comes out of Germany just works and works well? Sonax are one of our favourite brands and ever presents in our detailing arsenal. This was our first go with one of their shampoos and whilst only a limited test we will certainly be buying the product. There are better diluted products and possibly slicker feeling products but as an overall package encompassing value, style, smell and useability this is a winner.
