How we Tested it?

We picked up about 20, 2L bottles of Demon Shine when a local store had a clearance and was selling them off for just £4 a bottle so we hoped it was good! Whilst you can get Demon Shine with a gun attachment to use via hose, we used it via our snow foam lance with approximately an inch in the bottle on various vehicles.

We Liked:

  • Foams well and leaves a good coverage of the vehicle.
  • Has a lovely smell described as cherry but we would say it is more like a marzipan scent.
  • Great value even when not on offer.
  • Foam gun attachment for hosepipes is a good idea for those without a pressure washer.

We Didn’t like:

  • We found after a few uses, out snowfoam lance scaled up and required descaling as the foam was just not coming through. We haven’t had this problem with more premium snowfoams.
  • The packaging is very cheap looking and alongside other brands on the shelves it just puts you off.
  • There are far superior products for cleaning power and we are unsure of the PH properties of Demon Foam.

Overall:

Demon Foam isn’t a bad product but we couldn’t really recommend it either with products like Blizzard by Krystal Kleen Detail offering far superior performance and PH Neutral properties for essentially the same price or better. Having said that, the foam gun attachment is a good idea and it is accessible on the high street and whilst others offer more, it will still do the job.
