Quite some claims, so we put it to the test on a range of customer vehicles after being sent a 100ml sample from Power Maxed.

How we Tested it?

We have used the Power Maxed glass cleaner on a variety of vehicles within the detailing business. We applied several sprays to interior and exterior glass and wiped over with a microfiber before buffing with a streak buster cloth from Liquid Elements (which we will soon also be reviewing). This is the equipment we use with all glass cleaners.

We Liked:

• Great packaging. Colourful, eye catching yet informative and professional appearance. Simple, functional bottle designs.
• Smells fantastic and leaves a lovely smell behind when used on interior glass.
• Cuts through grime with ease, we were particularly impressed with its effectiveness on some old glue residue on a window.
• Great value for money and economical in use.

We Didn't like:

• Not the quickest product to use. Power Maxed themselves recommend leaving the product to dwell and it does work better when you do this.
• Quite susceptible to additional moisture on the glass causing issues with buffing smearing.

Overall:

Since trialling Power Maxed glass cleaner we have gone on to purchase 5 litres of the product so they must be doing something right! This was certainly a product that grew on us. Straight away we loved the smell and economy of the product but weren't sure on the finish. Leaving it to dwell before buffing changed this and we soon had a fantastic product on our hands. This will take some shifting from being an ever present in our detailing arsenal. As a bonus, my mother has stolen some for the house and loves it too!
