What is it?
A new detailing wax from the team at Power Maxed with a lemon sorbet scent. With claimed durability in the region of 3 to 4 months and hydrophobic water beading and sheeting technology due to its T1 Carnauba wax content.
How we tested it?
We were sent a pot of Typhoon from Power Maxed with a set of products for review. It has been applied both to our own vehicle to observe durability and a range of vehicles both as standalone protection and to top sealants for the final finish. We observed the ease of application, visual results, beading qualities and durability of the product.

Overall:
The first wax that we have trialed from Power Maxed and a very impressive one it is too. We have a shelf full of waxes in the workshop from budget to premium brands and we found ourselves still reaching for the Typhoon every time. The smell makes it an absolute joy to use and rewards you with great results. We feel it will take time for people to discover this wax as it sits in the price point between budget and premium which is a competitive market but be brave, pop your more established wax manufacturers to one side and you will be very pleasantly surprised.
