How we tested it:

We have been using Power Maxed TFR for a couple of years now and in that time it has been used for all manner of tasks. We have observed its cleaning power, ease and safety of use and its general place as a product in your routine.

We Liked:

• Incredible insect remover. You literally see the bugs "melt" off the vehicle surface.
• Great ready to use 1 litre available that offers very good value for money.
• Removes heavier dirt with ease after a relatively short dwell time.
• Wax/coating safe when diluted at least 9:1.
• Great for removing algaedirt that builds up in window rubbersdoor surrounds.
• Doubles as a good wheel cleaner.

We didn't like:

• We would like a 5 litre ready to use as well as a concentrate. With TFR you definitely want to know you have your dilutions bang on.

Overall:

TFR usually fills people with fear due to horror stories of cheap hand car washes using it too strong and then it baking on to paintwork in the sun. This need not be the case as TFR is actually a very effective and safe method of pre cleansing when used correctly. In the case of Power Maxed TFR, it mirrors many of the properties not just of a traffic film remover but of a citrus pre wash in the way it degreases and breaks the bonds of insects on the vehicle. Through the summer months when cars get absolutely covered in bug residue it is a wonderful product to have to hand. For just £7.99 for a litre ready to use in an LSP safe dilution, the product is ideal for a pre mist over heavier soiling prior to snow foaming which we do so on almost all details. A genuinely excellent product at a fantastic price.
