What is it?

Designed to remove harmful ferrous metal deposits from your paintwork, Power Maxed have joined the game and describe their variant as follows

POWER MAXED FALLOUT REMOVER is an advanced reactive formula that specifically targets only iron-based contamination. It is suitable to use on all exterior surfaces, including paintwork, stainless steel, aluminium, chrome, glass, plastic, anodized finishes, and even rubber. Iron Off also contains strong degreasing agents to help loosen road films, making it the ultimate power in your decontamination process.

How we Tested it?

We have tested the Power Maxed offering in three formats. We did a direct comparison test with our other favourite Fallout Remover, Ferrum by KKD which we will bring to you soon. This was observed on wheels, flat panels and door panels on the same vehicle with reaction time, cling and visible effects looked for. We also tested Power Maxed on its own as part of the full decontamination of two vehicles.

We Liked:

• Instant reaction time. The paint starts "bleeding" to show reactions almost on contact.
• Nice thick clingy formula means a good work time on the desired surface, yet also sprays on well over a large area and relatively economically.
• Very obvious cleansing properties on stubborn wheel deposits. The wheel looked fantastic on rinsing.

We Didn't like:

• Absolutely awful smell. Nearly as bad"¦..no definitely as bad as Iron X by Carpro. So much so that passers by asked what on earth was going on.
• Available as 500ml, or 25 Litres"¦ Why? Definite need for 1 Litre and 5 Litre quantities.
• Our Trigger head failed on the bottle due to chemicals eating the mechanism.

Overall:

There is no doubt about it, this product blew us away and not just the smell. In terms of performance, it wiped the floor with rival products and the cling of the product and instant reaction made it a joy to use. We were so impressed with how well it cleaned the wheels used on of staining and brake deposits. If Power Maxed can sort out some alternative quantities of the product and their trigger heads (Our tar remover also was eaten by chemicals) we genuinely believe this is one the best Fallout Removers on the market today.
