How we Tested it?

Uber shine was used by Trusted Car Products over an extended period of time on a multitude of vehicle types and sizes. It was applied following a pre wash using professional grade wash mitts and using the two bucket method of washing.

We Liked:

• PH Neutral formula ensures wax coatings are undamaged by the product.
• Amazing smell and bright pink colour set it apart and make it very pleasant to use.
• Clever bottle design allows for easy dispensing of product.

We Didn't like:

• Whilst the product foams well, it lacks lubricity. When using it compared to other similarly priced products, you cannot help but notice it doesn't glide over paint with the ease of others.
• At £7 for 500ml (Amazon) the product certainly isn't expensive, however when there are so many alternatives in the same price bracket with better dilution rates and far superior lubricity, the value doesn't seem quite as good.
• We had to pour water into the container to effectively remove the last few servings of product as the bottle became squashed when empty and wouldn't push the product through.

Overall:

A decent all round shampoo that provides wax safe cleaning and leaves a nice glossy finish. There are better value alternatives and better performing shampoos, though the amazing smell does make you want to keep using Uber Shine. Add to this that supermarkets quite often stock it at bargain prices on offer and it starts to make more sense.
