What is it?

MadCow describe the product on their website as follows:

A ridiculously high gloss wax fortifying final coat. Can be applied over previous wax coating or straight into freshly cleaned paint work. Extremely high level of beading, long lasting protection. Easy buff low smear formula, can be used in direct sunlight. Spray on, wipe over, buff off! The ultimate show shine!

How we Tested it?

We picked up a small 50ml sample of Ultra Violet to trial on a few of our vehicles which were going out both to car shows and as a final step on our protection details. We looked for ease of application, gloss enhancing properties and economy.

We Liked:

• There is nothing. Nothing. That can come close to Ultra Violet for gloss properties in this form. The finish is absolutely stunning.
• The ease of application is great. Spray on, wipe over, quickly buff off any residue leaving a flawless finish.
• Smells incredible. Remember purple violet sweets? Think that smell.
• The smell lasts! Use this before a show and the exterior of your car will smell as people walk around!
• A real crowd pleaser, we have had customers ask for us to do what we did to such and such a vehicle to theirs. When we tell them it simply had a gloss enhancing spray they are amazed.

We Didn't like:

• The smell is fantastic but also quite overpowering and may not be to all tastes.
• Not cheap with 500ml coming in at a penny shy of £13. Having said that, once you have used it, the price becomes irrelevant. You WILL want this.

Overall:

Quite simply our favourite ever detailing product of its type. If we find someone who uses this and doesn't fall in love with it then we would be amazed. Fantastic for the show goer and home user alike, this product will make any car a guaranteed head turner. Use it on metallic black for an incredible depth as we did on an Alfa Romeo GT we detailed. Superb product.
