What is it:

G3 themselves describe the product as follows; G3 Professional Snow Foam is a pH neutral cleaner, safe for all surfaces and paint finishes. It is ideal for touchless cleaning before full exterior work and doesn't strip off previously applied sealants or waxes.

High foaming action softens and lifts dirt, making it easier and safer to remove damaging particles without touching the surface.

How we tested it:

We were kindly sent a 500ml bottle of the snow foam for testing and featured it in a video review for our Youtube channel on safe washing and also tested on several further vehicles. We looked mainly at dwell time, effectiveness as a pre wash and value.

We Liked:

• Smells great both out the bottle and during use of the product.
• Effective pre wash, decent levels of cleaning power.
• Not overly thick but we liked this, thick product is wasted product as it sits on top of other foam.
• PH balanced formula

We Didn't Like:

• We had to use quite a lot of product to get results, the 500ml bottle will only really do 3-4 washes.
• Works out expensive due to the economy of the product.

Overall:

G3's first entry into the snow foam market and overall we are a fan. It was an enjoyable product to use with its pleasant smell and decent dwell time not compromising on cleaning power. We liked that it was a thinner coat compared to a lot of snow foams. Yes, a thick coat looks more impressive to the curious neighbours wondering what you are doing but in truth thick foam is wasted foam as you often end up just layering foam rather than contact with the car. Our main issue with the product is it loses out on rivals with its dilution rates and consequently works our more expensive. A good product but may struggle to convert some due to this.
