What is it?

Cartec UK describe the product themselves as follows; Iron Wash is a pH Neutral Fallout Remover and Wheel Cleaner. Developed to be extremely fast, while still being super safe, Iron Wash can be used on bodywork, wheels, glass and plastic to remove any metal particles or contaminants quickly and efficiently.

How we Tested it:

We came across Iron Wash and our first experience of the brand via the brilliant BecauseRaceCarBox subscription service. We tested our sample of Iron Wash on two different vehicles both on bodywork and wheels to observe the effectiveness of fallout removal and reaction time of the product.

We Liked:

• Really fast reaction time, almost on contact you could see iron particles being dissolved.
• Nice clingy formula to allow for a good dwell period.
• PH balanced gentle formulation.
• Cleans off bodywork easily despite being a thicker product than some.

We didn't like:

• Sizes available are either a little or a lot! Would be nice to have a 500ml offering in the range.

Overall

Really impressed with this fallout remover. Lets face it, fallout removers largely stink and this is no different! So the faster the reaction time can be, the faster we can be done with it! (Im yet to meet anyone who enjoys using fallout remover regularly!). Although smelly and messy, it remains a key part of properly preparing a vehicle and Iron Wash appears to be a very effective option. We really liked how clingy it was although the thick formula did make it a little painful on the trigger finger! And we would really like to see 500ml offerings. Aside from this, we can only recommend the product highly.
