What is it:

Taken from the Buff it UK website; Buff It's Multi Surface Cleaner All in One utilises colloidal technology to safely lift dirt, grime, oils and stains from fabric and vinyl surfaces. This means that the cleaning action is the result of a gentle physical process rather than a strong chemical reaction. As a result, intensive cleaning can be performed without the need for strong chemicals.

How we Tested it:

We received a 250ml bottle of Multi Surface Cleaner in the BecauseRaceCarBox subscription box service for February and must admit that this was the first time we have come across the brand. We quickly set about putting it to the test in a range of scenarios including wheel arch cleansing, interior surfaces and upholstery. We looked at cleaning effectiveness, value of the product and the smellusability as an all purpose cleaner.

We Liked:

• Absolute bargain. 250ml is just £2.99 making it an ideal product to carry in the car for emergency spillages and a no brainer for your collection.
• Leaves a very clean smell behind after use, very nice for deep cleaning interiors.
• Cleans effectively, though we found it more at home on interior surfaces.
• Available in a range of sizes.

We Didn't Like:

• Some may consider the smell slightly overpowering for interior cleaning.
• Packaging does look a little cheap"¦but it is cheap!
• Some concentrated rivals are capable of stronger cleaning but that isn't to take away too much from Buff It's cleaning ability which is still very commendable.

Overall:

A great first impression from the Buff It team! Multi Purpose Cleaner is exactly what it says it is. It cleans pretty much any surface and will do so effectively and leave behind a very clean scent. With even a litre coming in at only £7.99, it represents one of the best priced products on the market in its category and a 250ml offering makes it an ideal in the car emergency cleaner to have to hand. We enjoyed using it and will likely continue to do so, particularly for interior plastic surfaces and upholstery spot cleaning.
