What We Say

What is it:

A compact mid range pressure washer from the team at Bosch. Complete with a range of accessories in a neat package and packing a punchy 1700W motor and 130bar of water pressure output this pressure washer is aimed at being a general solution to all your motoring and home use needs.

How we Tested it:

We were sent the Bosch pressure washer to put through its paces and trial against several rival machines. We looked for the value for money received in the product both in terms of performance and what you get with the machine accessories wise as well as ease of use and range of uses.

We Liked:

• Fantastic design, machine all clips together very easily with accessories and folds down to a very neat easy to store package.
• Robust and sturdy, a real quality feel as per with Bosch products.
• Angled lance is genius. Allows you to easily reach the roof areas on large vehicles and things like conservatories, shed roofs etc.
• High pressure output with variety of settings.
• Start stop feature to ensure motor not running when not in use.

We Didn't Like:

• Hose connector is a little oversized, but it's no biggie.

Overall:

The first pressure washer we have tried from Bosch and based on our findings we hope it isn't the last. Bosch certainly has a strong name in the power tool and industrial tool market but isn't as well known as brands such as Karcher and Nilfisk when it comes to pressure washers. In its price bracket however, we would now be reaching for the AQT over its equivalents. It feels better built with more thought going in to the overall design and certainly packs a punch with a more powerful output than many rivals. Our favourite feature was the right angled lance end which is a game changer when cleaning 4x4s or awkward to reach areas and as such makes this an ideal choice for someone who regularly likes to clean their vehicle themselves.
