What is it?

Bear Car Care describe Radiant as follows;

Radiant is our new formulation of spray wax. Radiant is a luxury spray wax. Designed to apply a layer of wax on your paintwork quickly and effortlessly. Radiant is easy to apply and buff off and will leave a deep glossy shine. This is the perfect product to apply a layer of protection or to give a layer of gloss to the paint. Radiant will heavily increase the gloss levels on your paint to leave a clean and professional finish.

How we Tested it:

After also being involved in pre release testing of Radiant, we got our hands on 500ml of the final product to put through its paces and feedback upon. We looked at mainly its gloss enhancing properties, ease of use and effectiveness as a protection.

We Liked:

• Smells incredible. Milkshake scented! A nice smell is always a winner.
• Leaves a superb warm like glow and depth to surfaces after application.
• Very easy application, wiping on and off the panel with ease and with little to no residue requiring a second removal.
• Great trigger head and bottle design make for very controlled application and economical use.
• Pairs very nicely with Brilliance, the hybrid detailer from the range.

We didn't like:

• Quite an expensive product in 500ml form. 5L brings good value.

Overall

Bear had entered the spray wax world before with Resplendent, their previous product which Radiant has replaced. Whilst we liked it, we did find flaw in its application with it being a little thick and streaky on application at times. Radiant is nothing of the sort. It retains the properties of its predecessor that worked so well and builds upon them by adding a far greater ease of use and general usability to the product. What you are left with is a premium feeling, ultra high gloss, easy to use finishing product. Bear advice using Brilliance first for extra protection and a base for the wax and we agree, this combination makes for some awesome results. Price point may deter some but once you have used it once, we doubt you will begrudge the price again.
