What We Say

What is it:

Taken from the Bear Car Care Website; Gum ball and Cherry Drop are strong air fresheners scented like Bubblegum and Sweet Cherry. With a quality trigger on the bottle Cherry drop will freshen up any environment.

How we tested it:

Along with the complete range of exterior and interior products, Bear Car Care were kind enough to send us a 500ml bottle of each of their air fresheners. Obviously with air fresheners, paramount is the smell both in terms of how pleasant it is and that it isn't overpowering. But it is also important that we looked at value, any side effects on surfaces and ease of use.

We Liked:

• Both air fresheners have a very pleasant fragrance that isn't overpowering and lasts well.
• Being a spray air freshener with a good dispersion, easy to control level of scent by amount used.
• Great value for money. Only need to use a little amount for a good level of scent.
• Use as required unlike hanging air fresheners.
• Doesn't effect fabrics or surfaces.

We Didn't Like:

• Both are quite sweet scents, may be beneficial to offer a less sweet sent such as a sandlewood or new car scent for those who aren't keen.

Overall

As our thoughts on both of the Bear Car Care scents are the same, we decided to combine the review for both.

Air fresheners are always subjective. Not everyone will like a particular smell and some people will want a stronger scent or a weaker scent. This is why spray air fresheners are great, they offer control over scent strength and when and where to use it, whereas once a hanging air freshener is opened it can't be reversed. We personally like the scents that Bear Car Care offer and they last a good 1-2 days after a few sprays which is all you want from a use as required spray product. The only thing we would suggest is possibly another one or two scents in the range as with sweet scents there may be potential customers being alienated but in terms of performance these are some of the best value and best performing spray air fresheners on the market.
