What is it:

Taken from the Bear Car Care Website; Eradicate is a powerful iron and fallout remover. For use on wheels and bodywork Eradicate is a gel based FR to help breakdown iron and fallout particles on your car.

How we tested it:

We were kindly sent 500ml of Eradicate to assess and put through its paces by Bear Car Care themselves as part of a review of their whole range. With fallout removers, obviously the removal of fallout is paramount but we also looked at the reaction times for the product, smell and the safety of the product. We tested it on a variety of both wheels and bodywork and observed the results.

We Liked:

• For a fallout remover, smell is actually quite pleasant! Witchcraft in the world of fallout removers.
• Nice clingy formula which is always useful for fallout removal. Allows the product to dwell and do its thing and not just run off.
• Very effective fallout removal. Removed both baked on wheel brake dust, orange tinge and bonded deposits from paintwork.

We Didn't Like:

• Quite a slow reaction time for the fallout removal properties to kick in compared to rivals.
• Used quite a lot of product to cover area.
• Trigger didn't disperse the product effectively.

Overall

Fallout removing is very satisfying to watch with the bleeding properties of most on the market but also probably the most unpleasant part of the detailing process due to awful smells and thick messy products. Bear Car Care have managed what few have been able to. Retain the awesome fallout removal capability and actually make it smell decent! The only issue we can really point to is in 500ml form it will work out expensive. Its thick clingy formula is great from a performance perspective but does mean you use quite a lot of product to cover an area. Overall a very commendable fallout remover.
