The BD Clean Exterior Dressing is a high quality product that packs a punch. Gets your faded blacks back to black quickly and easily without any muscle power from you. This specialist Exterior Dressing is fast acting and strong, can be used on unfinished and unpainted plastic surfaces, leaving a professional and non-greasy finish.

How we tested it?

BD Clean sent us a range of 500ml products for us to trial and review. Exterior dressing was one of only two of these which we had used prior to this range of samples making their way to us. We have tested it extensively on a range of types of plastic as well as varying levels of fade. We have even applied it to new plastics to see if it has any impact on these.

We Liked:

• Very instantly noticeable impact on all trim. Really restores the finish.
• Can be layered to darken finish effectively.
• Easy to apply with a tiny amount going a really long way.
• Economy of the product makes it one of the best value exterior dressings on the market today.

We didn't Like:

• Though trivial to some, the packaging design makes the product look cheap. Doesn't quite look right alongside the other new quirky designs.
• Horribly greasy product if it goes on the bodywork, yourself, glass etc. Take care when using it to control application.

Overall:

A very competent exterior dressing that is quick to use, great value and leaves a very nice as new finish on most trim. As we have found with almost all plastic dressings, some plastics the dressing didn't take to. Having said that, it performed far better overall than any other exterior dressing tested at the time of print and if we were to purchase this product we could see ourselves reaching for it more often than not in times of trim need!
