What is it?

Taken from the Autobrite Direct website; Elegance is a luxury all round detailing spray from Autobrite Direct that gives you that luxury finish your car really deserves. Elegance provides you with ultimate gloss on all paintwork surfaces with a single spray, wipe and buff. Ideal to use when the wax layer has been applied to the paint surface, then a quick and easy detailed finish with Elegance is all that is needed. Elegance can also be used on all automotive surfaces including lacquered wood, alloy wheels, glass, leather, plastic trim, interior dash and plastics and stainless steel. Elegance cleans, conditions and protects instantly.

How we Tested it?

We have used Elegance for some time now using it as a final step on many a treatment in the detailing studio. We have looked for the added gloss and lustre the product offers, ease and enjoyment of use and the general place of the product in the car care arsenal.

We Liked:

• One of the most enjoyable to use products on the market today. Largely due to its wonderful smell and stylish appearance.
• Leaves a lovely slick, deep lustre to the paint surface.
• Only a little product required. Quite economical in its use.
• Adds a real "final touch" feel to the process and doubles as a quick detailer to remover any finger prints from the vehicle.
• Noticable added protection. Nice beading following application.

We Didn't Like:

• Quite an expensive product at £16 for 500ml. There are rival products which perform similar duties for less.
• Gorgeous smell for exterior use may be slightly overpowering to some if used on interior surfaces.

Overall

To appreciate Elegance, you need to get your head around what Elegance is all about. Compared to rivals it may seem expensive and it is. But in the same breath, we don't actually feel like the product really has a rival as such. The best way to view Elegance and why you would use it, is purely because you can and because its enjoyable to do so. If you are handing a vehicle back to a client it adds that final gloss boost and that wonderful scent for the customer on arrival. If you are a show goer, spritz the car with Elegance and people will be drawn in by the smell and slick appeal. If you just love your car, the use of Elegance really gives that stand back and look at the finished product moment. A wonderfully enjoyable product with a real quality feel.
