What is it?

Taken from the Auto Elixir website description of the product; Here is Auto Elixir Paragon Car Shampoo it is one of the most advanced car wash treatments you can buy for your vehicle. It combines outstanding cleaning properties that dissolve and loosen dirt, grime and contaminants while leaving absolutely no residue on the surface. This ensures a streak free look, clean and smooth finish on every surface, every time.

This automotive shampoo has been developed using extremely high quality materials and incorporates foam boosting technology for long lasting foam and streak free results. The shampoo is highly concentrated with a mixture ratio of 1:2000 this makes it possible to make up to 1000 litres of shampoo solution from just one 500ml bottle. This means that out of one 500ml bottle an average of 50 car washes can be achieved. It is of course pH balanced and suitable for regular washes of vehicles treated with waxes, sealants and coatings.

How We Tested it:

After meeting the great team at Auto Elixir at Waxstock, we gathered a 250ml sample of Paragon to put through its paces. We have used the product on a variety of vehicles including those which are coated with ceramic protection, high grade waxes and bare paint with high levels of soiling. We looked as with all shampoos for the cleaning capabilities of the product, its ease of use and value/economy.

We Liked:

• Real premium feel to the product in every regard. Thick, viscous formula with stylish packaging and clear yet simple directions of use.
• Cleans well with a nice slick feel on the bodywork.
• Smells absolutely incredible out the bottle. Feels like your dispensing a premium beauty product not a car shampoo.
• Very economical dilution ratio, makes the product very good value.
• Left no residue on the bodywork with minimal streaking even in direct sunlight.

We Didn't like:

• Smell all but vanishes when in the bucket which is a real shame as it would make it so pleasurable to use.
• We found packaging made it difficult to dispense the last 50ml or so of product effectively.

Overall:

We loved Paragon. It is as simple as that and could quite simply summarise as such. It is without question one of our favourite car shampoos that we have used to date and a real guilty pleasure product which we found ourselves wanting to use purely to smell the bottle! The product feels ultra safe, both in the knowledge of its PH neutral properties and slick, high lubricity feel and is a real joy to use. A little refinement possibly needed to the dispensing as the thick nature of the product made it tricky though we are being picky. Fantastic shampoo.
